Diablo Swing Orchestra -- The Butcher's Ballroom, Album Cover When I read the tags "Metal" and "Jazz" describing the album my first thought was: These two styles together... that sounds at least interesting (actually I thought that it's impossible to mix these two styles). Now, what the Diablo Swing Orchestra does is even more than just mixing Metal and Jazz: There are influences from Swing over Opera and several other music styles as well and what they make out of it is simply great!
Perhaps this is not astonishing if you take into consideration that the orchestra exists since more than 500 years, well, kind of. The album is available for free under the CC-by-nc-nd license at jamendo.com.
